Karen Isebrands Brown and Jim Brown Nursing Scholarship

Karen Isebrands Brown and Jim Brown established this scholarship to help a woman pursuing a nursing career. “Given my years serving as the Director of Nicolet College’s Women’s Resource Bureau, I am well aware of the need for women to ‘catch up’ in our economy. Historically, females have been underemployed, the first to be laid off, and left ‘holding the bag’ to provide childcare for their children. A nursing degree will not only help to keep women and their children out of poverty…..RN’s are the bedrock of the health of our nation,” said Isebrands Brown.

Qualified applicants must be enrolled in their final term of the Associate Degree Nursing program and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. First preference is a female student.
