Joseph O. and JoAnne S. Dean Endowed Scholarship

Joseph O. Dean was a retired physician who spent much of his retirement in the Rhinelander area. He understood, from many perspectives, the value of education, character, and compassion in the delivery of care. He established the Joseph O. and JoAnne S. Dean Scholarship in his and his wife’s names for students in the Nursing program so that others might be touched to serve in the profession. The recipient must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in at least nine credits in the Nursing program, and demonstrate financial need.
